Set a budget before you play and treat what you spend as the price of an evening's entertainment. If that stops being true, the tools and contacts below are there to help.
Tools you can ask us for
- Deposit limits on how much you can pay in over a period you choose
- Cooling-off, a short break with the account paused
- Self-exclusion, for a set period or permanently
Ask for any of them in live chat and the agent applies it to your account. A self-exclusion cannot be undone before its end date.
GAMSTOP and blocking software
Our licence does not come from the UK Gambling Commission, and we sit outside GAMSTOP, so a GAMSTOP registration will not close an account with us. Request our own self-exclusion as well, and add blocking software such as Gamban to every phone and computer you use.
Signs worth acting on
- Chasing losses with bigger or quicker deposits
- Using money set aside for rent, bills or food
- Playing for longer than you meant to, or keeping it secret
- Borrowing to gamble, or to cover what gambling has cost
- Feeling restless or irritable when you try to stop
Any one of these is a good reason to take a break and talk to someone.
